Producing and posting your own blogs to your website are a great way to connect with your clients. Additionally, posting regular content on your website linked to your newsletter will help you build SEO which helps your chances of being found in an online search.

Remember, you may engage GVA Marketing to share our weekly Economic & Market Reports, written by the GVA Asset Management team, with your clients. We can post to your website and social media, and also distribute via your own personal eNews.

ENEWSLETTERS

Distinguish yourself from the competition by connecting with your prospects and clients through a structured communication strategy that includes email marketing with Newsletters. Newsletters are an effective tool for strengthening customer loyalty, building awareness and establishing your brand and position.

You may choose to utilize GVA Marketing for your email marketing needs, or if you do so yourself you will need to engage a deployment vendor. Some options are: MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.

Remember to submit your email for review prior to deployment.

EVENTS

Hosting an event for existing clients is a great way to continue to build relationships. The opportunity to invite and gather around a theme that has no mention of financial plans or securities talk can be very beneficial for deepening and strengthening the relationship you have worked so hard to build. You might also consider hosting prospective clients, or asking your existing clients to bring a friend.

Some ideas might be to host a guided wine tasting with food pairing, engage a professional technology representative (i.e. online security) to lead a technology demonstration, or host a group at Topgolf or your local pickleball club. Note, you may decide to ask for support from a wholesaler you do a decent amount of business with or you may decide to fund it on your own.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media can enhance your online visibility, strengthen relationships with your clients, and expand word-of-mouth advertising. Like any form of marketing, social media takes careful thought and is a long-term marketing commitment.

Hybrid Advisors: to begin using social media you need to complete a few simple steps:

  1. First, complete the social media training available on the Learning Center of ClientWorks.
  2. Second, sign-up for social media access on ClientWorks (Search for the Social Media User Guide under the Resource Center of ClientWorks for more information).
  3. Third, your social media static profiles must be reviewed and approved by Compliance before they are authorized for use:
  4. Finally, authorize Social Patrol for Hybrid or Smarsh for RIA Only on all approved social media profiles you intend to use. Once these steps are complete you are approved to use social media with LPL Financial!
