CEAs: How to Search for and Verify Version 9

As a reminder, Version 9 is GVA’s latest and greatest Client Engagement Agreement (CEA). If you have any prior versions on file for your discretionary accounts, we ask you to update them by February 2022.

Two reports within the Salesforce GVA Advisor Portal provide an overview on the status of CEAs for your client accounts: whether or not we have a CEA on file (CEA/IAA Status Report) and which version is showing (CEA By Version Report).

Please view our instructional video to help explain where to locate the following CEA reports in the GVA Advisor Portal:

  • CEA/IAA Status Report – This report informs you of any MISSING CEA’s. If a CEA is missing for more than 30 days, the fee will be held and reversed.
  • CEA By Version Report – This report informs you of what CEA version we have on file
