Salesforce Release Update 3.1: GVA Growth Gateway and Households & Individuals Layout Updates

After meeting with many of our advisors and receiving feedback across the network, we have implemented two updates to the GVA Growth Gateway and the Households & Individuals layout to further enhance the advisor experience in Salesforce.

Additions to the GVA Growth Gateway

We received significant feedback from advisors requesting a quick and easy way to review client birthdays coming up and recent activity across their team.

To address this, two new reports have been added to the bottom left and right corners of the GVA Growth Gateway:

  • Client Birthdays in the Next 30 Days
    This report allows advisors to quickly see upcoming client birthdays, helping teams stay proactive with client outreach. This report will populate as long as client birthdates are accurately maintained on the record.
  • Activities in the Past 14 Days
    This report provides a high-level view of completed and overdue activities from the past two weeks. It allows advisors to stay up to date on meetings, calls, and interactions that have recently taken place between team members and clients.

These reports are also available in the Business Strategy Reports folder. Within this folder, you will additionally find activity reports for the past day, 7 days, and 14 days, along with client birthday reports for the next 7 and 30 days.

Households & Individuals Layout Update

We also received strong feedback requesting that the activity timeline occupy a larger portion of the screen to make reviewing notes and interactions easier.

To support this request, the Households & Individuals page layout has been adjusted so that the screen is now evenly split between:

  • Activities
  • Record Details

This update improves readability of activity notes and timelines while keeping key record information easily accessible. No fields or functionality were changed as part of this update.
